Adore the Anointing of the Holy Spirit

In Zechariah chapter 4, there is a vision of a lamp stand. In this vision is oil flowing from seven golden bowl and golden pipes, through which all nations are shined upon. Two olive trees next to the golden lamp stand represent Zerubbabel and Joshua. This signifies God’s anointing of Zerubbabel and Joshua and the glory of God shining upon all nations. Zechariah 4:7 reads, “Who art thou, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.” At the time Israel had a huge problem that may be likened to a “great mountain”: the construction of a temple. God, however, promised the assistance and solution in turning a great mountain into a plain through anointed leaders. Regardless of how big a problem is in the third dimension, the anointing of the Holy Spirit helps you overcome it. For the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the solution of problems to come through, you must believe in the power of the Holy Spirit and turn on the switch of faith.

It is important to receive the transfer of the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The anointing of the Holy Spirit can not only be measured but also transferred. The most notable example is the transfer of the anointing from Elijah to Elisha. Elisha desired twice as much of Elijah’s power and followed him to Gilgal, Bethel, and Jericho beseeching him. 2 Timothy 1:6 says, “Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.” Here the gift refers to the spiritual gift, in other words the gift of the Holy Spirit and anointing. Paul also addresses the Christians in Rome, “For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established.” God works when the anointed pray in the name of the Lord.

Cindy Jacobs speaks of her personal experience in The Voice of God. “When I was called into ministry, I struggled with authority. One day as I was praying and the Holy Spirit spoke to me, ‘Cindy. If you desire to undertake authoritative ministry, you must first submit to those with authority. The more you obey spiritually, the greater your spiritual authority will grow. Remember the centurion who came to Jesus to ask for the healing of his servant. His obedience brought about a great miracle.” We must honor the power of the saints who went before us and inherit their power by submitting to it. Anointing can be transferred when speaking with, listening to, or reading the books of the anointed. Because the anointing of the Holy Spirit is spiritual reality, it transcends time and space. When the anointing takes place, we no longer behold problems but God’s visions. Soon the gifts and power to realize the visions are granted. May all of you desire the anointing of the Holy Spirit and become His servants of great visions and power through the fulfillment of the Spirit.
